She previously worked as a Managing Associate at Eversheds Sutherland-affiliated Tsvetkova Bebov and Partners between 2015 and 2025. Prior to that, Mateina was a Junior Associate at Georgiev, Roussinov and Co. between 2014 and 2015.

She started her legal career as a Legal Assistant at Yanko Konstantinov Georgiev, where she worked between 2009 and 2012.

“Covering 27+ countries in Europe, I now have the opportunity to work across borders, business units, and regulatory landscapes, commented Mateina. “This role doesn’t just expand my reach – it merges the three lanes that have defined my professional path: antitrust, complex commercial disputes, and pharmaceutical regulation. The transition allows me to apply litigation strategy in real-time, shape compliance frameworks proactively, and collaborate more closely with business leaders. It’s not just a change in title, it’s a shift in perspective, impact, and integration.”
