Maria Muresan has joined Betfair Romania Development in the role of Head of Legal Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, India Hubs.
Prior to moving to Flutter Entertainment’s technology hub, Muresan spent more than seven years at Novo Nordisk: first, as a Legal & Compliance Manager BA Europe East / LC Director Business Area Europe East Large Markets between 2018 and 2021, then, as the Legal, Ethics & Compliance Director Romania between 2021 and 2025, and finally, as the Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality Director between 2024 and 2026.
Earlier, she worked as the Head of Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance at Lidl Romania between 2011 and 2018, Head of Legal Department – Lawyer at Suport Colect – Erste Group Member between 2009 and 2011, Senior Legal Advisor – Lawyer at Raiffeisen Leasing Romania IFN between 2008 and 2009, and Legal Advisor at Raiffeisen Leasing Romania between 2007 and 2008.
Muresan started her in-house legal career as a Junior Legal Advisor at Orange Romania – a role she had between 2005 and 2007.
