Tamriko Chechelashvili Joins Paysera Bank Georgia as Chief Legal Officer

Former Pasha Bank Head of Legal Department Tamriko Chechelashvili has joined Paysera Bank Georgia as Chief Legal Officer.

Before the move, Chechelashvili spent nearly five years at Pasha Bank in Georgia, first as Head of Legal, Compliance & AML between 2020 and 2024, and later as Head of Legal until 2025. Earlier in her career, she worked with BGI Legal between 2019 and 2020 and led the legal department at Lendo.ge between 2018 and 2019. Chechelashvili earlier worked at Bank Constanta as Legal Counsel between 2013 and 2015, then joined TBC Bank, where she served as Legal Counsel from 2015 to 2016 and was promoted to Senior Legal Counsel, a role she held until 2018.

Chechelashvili holds a Master of Laws from American University Washington College of Law, earned in 2018, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from Tbilisi State University, completed in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
