Stathis Papageorgiou has returned to Public Group – now as Director of Legal Services.
Between 2020 and 2023, Papageorgiou worked as Legal Counsel for the Retail World SA arm of Public. He then took on the role of Senior Legal Counsel at Public Group between 2023 and 2024.
Prior to returning to Public Group, Papageorgiou worked as Legal Counsel, Balkans at The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. between 2024 and 2025.
His other job experience includes working as a Senior Lawyer at PQH between 2018 and 2020, as an Attorney at Law at Amarla Retail SA between 2017 and 2020, and as a Lawyer at LafargeHolcim between 2015 and 2017.
The position of Director of Legal Services at Public Group was previously held by Maria-Stefania Katsiapi. “After more than 14 rewarding years with the Olympia Group of Companies, I am stepping down from my role as Director of Legal Services at Public Group,” commented Katsiapi. “Looking back to December 2010, I could never have imagined such a rich and fulfilling journey – projects that challenged me, milestones that pushed me, and, above all, colleagues who inspired me.
