Swiss company Straumann Group has hired Ozlem Atak as its Ethics and Compliance Director Russia, Iran, Turkey, EE.
Prior to joining the organization, Atak was a Founding Partner of Atak & Batan Law Firm – a position she held between 2021 and 2025.
Earlier, she was a Regional Compliance Manager Central Eastern Europe & Turkey at Abbott between 2017 and 2021, Head of Legal at Shire between 2016 and 2017, Legal Counsel & Compliance Manager at Eczacıbasi-Baxter Hastane Urunleri between 2014 and 2016, and Legal Counsel at Eczacibasi-Baxter Hastane Urunleri between 2012 and 2016.
Atak’s other experience includes working as a Healthcare Compliance & Legal Affairs Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical Turkey between 2008 and 2012, a Consultant Lawyer at Real Hypermarkets Chain between 2007 and 2008, a Legal Counsel at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey between 2005 and 2007, and a Lawyer – International Relations Expert at Turk Metal Sanayicileri Sendikasi between 2002 and 2004.
She started her legal career as a Paralegal-Lawyer at Turkoglu Law Office between 2000 and 2002.
