Organon Appoints Miray Turkmen to Legal & Compliance Director

Organon has appointed Miray Turkmen to Legal & Compliance Director, MENAT & South Africa.

Turkmen has been with the company since May (as reported by CEE In-House Matters on May 23, 2022). 

Turkmen moved to Organon from MSD, where she worked between 2018 and 2022. She first joined MSD as a Legal Counsel and was promoted to Legal and Compliance Lead in 2021.

Before moving in-house, she worked for Bezen & Partners as a Legal Associate between 2013 and 2016.

Veljko Smiljanic Returns to Private Practice to Establish Tria Partners

Before setting up Tria Partners, Smiljanic worked for United Mead as the company's Head of Legal from 2021 to 2025. Earlier, he worked for Karanovic & Partners as a Senior Associate from 2011 to 2021.
