Ericsson Expands the Role of Privacy Director Armagan Yildirim to Include Europe

Ericsson expanded the remit of its Privacy Director Armagan Yildirim to include Europe in addition to the Middle East and Africa.

Turkish lawyer Yildirim has been with the company for more than a decade, joining in 2014 as a Senior Group Legal Counsel CU Turkey & Iran in the Turkish office. She became a Senior Group Legal Counsel GCU MTN in 2018, moving to the South African office of the organization. In 2021, she became a Senior Group Legal Counsel GFLA Privacy Compliance in the Canadian office of Ericsson, and Privacy Director (Market Area Middle East and Africa) in 2024.

Prior to joining Ericsson, Yildirim worked as a Senior Attorney at IBM between 2009 and 2013.

She moved in-house after working as an Associate at Taboglu & Demirhan Attorney At Law between 2007 and 2009 and an Associate at Okten Law Firm between 2003 and 2005.
