Eleni Stathaki Joins Workable as General Counsel

HR software provider Workable has hired Eleni Stathaki as its General Counsel in Greece.

Prior to joining the company, Stathaki was Upstream’s Head of Legal between 2010 and 2025.

Earlier, she worked as a Lawyer, first at AEGEK between 2002 and 2007 and then at Sonae Sierra between 2007 and 2010.

Stathaki started her legal career as an intern at Hogan Lovells in 2006.

“After almost 15 years leading Upstream’s legal team, joining Workable feels like a natural next step,” commented Stathaki. “I was drawn to the company’s openness to innovation and AI, and the excitement that comes with scaling. I hope to bring both legal expertise and a strategic, collaborative approach to support Workable as it matures – this might mean anticipating challenges so that the business can focus on innovation and customer value.”
