RoPower Nuclear In-House Counsel Andrei Nicolae has been appointed as the General Counsel of the company.
A former Suciu Popa Senior Associate specializing in energy law, corporate governance, and disputes, Nicolae spent a year with the company as an In-House Counsel before becoming the new General Counsel of RoPower Nuclear. He previously spent over three years with Suciu Popa.
RoPower Nuclear was established back in 2022 as a joint venture between state-owned Nuclearelectrica and Nova Power & Gas to develop small modular nuclear reactors.
