Alexios Andriopoulos has joined Welcome Pickups as the company’s new Head of Legal & Compliance.
Welcome Pickups is a travel experience company.
Before the move, Andriopoulos was General Counsel of SoftOne Technologies between 2023 and 2025, and also worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Freenow between 2021 and 2023. Earlier, he worked for the DPG Group of Companies as Legal Counsel between 2015 and 2021 and as an Attorney at Law for Karagounis & Partners between 2013 and 2015 and for Nikolaos Andriopoulos and Associates between 2012 and 2013.
The main reasons for taking on this role is that WP is a pure tech company, I find the idea of the business exciting and very promising and this is a global business (it operates in more than 360 destinations globally), meaning this position will allow me to lead the global legal strategy and compliance,” Andriopoulos commented. “This is very rare to find as a role!”
