Ana Busuioc Becomes Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs for Central and Eastern Europe at JDE Peet’s

JDE Peet’s has appointed Ana Busuioc as its Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs for Central and Eastern Europe.

Busuioc has been with JDE Peet’s since 2024, when she joined as Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs for South Central Europe. Earlier, she worked in-house for Edenred Romania between 2015 and 2024 and for Societatea de Administrare a Participatiilor in Energie between 2014 and 2015. Before moving in-house, she was a Partner with Voinescu & Partners between 2013 and 2014 and has also worked for Enescu, Panait, Pop & Partners as a Senior Associate between 2008 and 2013. She began her career with an earlier stint for Edenred Romania, between 2006 and 2008.

“Taking on the role of Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs for Central & Eastern Europe at JDE Peet’s was a decision driven by both purpose and passion,”  Busuioc commented. “It’s a role that spans 9 diverse countries, each with its own legal landscape, business culture, and strategic priorities, and that’s exactly what drew me to it. I’ve always believed that growth happens when we stretch ourselves, when we lean into complexity rather than shy away from it. I know this journey won’t be easy. There will be challenges, unexpected turns, and moments that will test my resilience and adaptability. But I see all of that as part of the opportunity – to learn, to evolve, and to contribute in a way that truly adds value. I’m looking forward to working closely with our teams across the region, building strong partnerships, and helping shape a legal and corporate affairs function that not only protects but also empowers the business. This new chapter is as much about personal development as it is about professional impact, and I’m grateful for the trust placed in me.”

Busuioc spoke at the CEE Legal Matters CEE General Counsel Summit held in Prague this past April.
