Miroslava Zafirova Joins Uniqa Bulgaria as General Secretary and Legal

Miroslava Zafirova has joined Uniqa Bulgaria as General Secretary and Legal.

Before the move, Zafirova was the General Counsel at the Bulgarian Development Bank between 2021 and 2025.

Earlier, she was the Legal Officer at DSK Bank between 2003 and 2021.

“I am happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable development of the business and dynamic growth of Uniqa on the Bulgarian and regional insurance market,” commented Zafirova.

Luka Pavlekovic Appointed Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at INA Grupa

Pavlekovic has been with the organization for more than 16 years, originally joining as Contracting Specialist II in 2008 – a role he held until 2009.

Mirko Lalatovic Appointed as Head of Compliance for Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

Lalatovic has been serving as the Head of Compliance for South Eastern Central Europe at the company since 2020. He first joined the company in 2015.

Ulrike Tuerk Joins Buschmann as Head of Legal

Prior to joining the organization, Tuerk worked as Head of Legal at Immowert Immobilieninvest GmbH between 2023 and 2025.
