Former Deputy Head of the Supervision and Enforcement Department-I of the Turkish Competition Authority, Ebru Ince, has returned to private practice to join ELIG Gurkaynak Attorneys-at-Law as Counsel.

From January 2009 to May 2021, Ince worked in the Turkish Competition Authority as an assistant competition expert, competition expert, senior competition expert, and, most recently, as a Deputy Head of the Supervision and Enforcement Department-I, which focuses primarily on information technologies, platform services, telecommunications, and media.

"It is well known, both in Turkey and globally, that ELIG Gurkaynak Attorneys-at-Law is in a league of its own as far as Turkish competition law is concerned," Ince commented. "Gurkaynak is a leading lawyer and a highly respected academic, and I am sure both he and his team will keep me busy with cutting-edge matters. I look forward to this new phase of my professional life and to the new challenges of being a part of the top competition law practice."

Ince holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University, where she also attained her MA in Law and Economics degree in 2010. In 2016, she also completed an MSc at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
